I see PMI has some information about them, and links to training, but I don't see anything about how to apply, or to schedule a test.

Is anyone here familiar with these?
(I'm curious if I just haven't navigated to the right areas on the PMI site, or if applications and tests aren't available yet)

Disciplined Agile recently revamped their certifications and together with PMI came up with a new suite of Agile Certifications.

You have to take a course first to start.

John -

Unlike the PMP or other traditional PMI certs, the DASM & DASSM certs don't require you (yet) to submit an application prior to taking the exam. You take a course with an ATP who is able to deliver DA workshops such as my company and after completing the course PMI sends you an e-mail with a link to take the exam within a 30 day period. Once you pass the exam, you have earned the credential.

This is why the DA courses are costlier than others because the certification cost is baked into those.

Thanks for that info. I had seen the list of course delivery options. But with no links for being able to "apply" or to register for an exam, I didn't know if that was still in the works (coming soon) -- and the associated timing risk for taking a course now, but having to wait an extended period of time before taking the exam.

30 days sounds like a reasonable window.

Disciplined Agile has been getting a lot of attention at my work lately... So trying to understand the process better. :-)

I've been working with the toolkit since 2016 so let me know if you have any questions about it, John!
