What's happening with PMI and its digital product strategy??

does anyone know what is happening with all these products that are being developed as digital platforms? I have seen so far: edge, standardsplus, snippets, this platform (projectmanagement.com) and the pmi.org webpage.

I can see that all these products overlap in some areas, and it seems that PMI has the intention to monetarize all these in separate subscriptions.

Then it comes to my mind:
1. why are we then paying for the pmi subscription if every other thing associate with PMI would be a separate subscription?
2. is there any way to check the digital product roadmap to see how all these websites make sense? what's the big picture here?
3. all these separate subscriptions will diminish the value of the pmi subscription? don't you think pmi is behaving a little too greedy here?
4. with the upcoming 7th edition, the PM book will be just a principle-based guide, but all the implementation substance will be in standardsplus. So to add any practical implementation and help with techniques, would we have to pay a separate subscription?

Am I missing something here? I think that my pmi subscription is one of the most valuable professional body memberships, but now it seems that pmi will strip all these goodies to sell them in separate bundles. To me, this will discourage people to keep investing in it every year.

Any thoughts?
