Is the CAPM exam remained the same ie process as in 6th edition or it has changed to the same new version as the PMP exam ie Domain, Task and Enabler? Saving Changes...

One more question, how much on calculations?
Any tips on best study tools for calculation questions for cost management? The pmbok guide isn’t the best and I skipped a lot of the diagrams in cost management chapter because I could not digest them / decipher the diagram to understand the theory. The table with the formula is too “dry” . I worry not being able to use calculator or write on paper via the online proctor, I will just have a brain freeze

You will be able to use a calculator and a scrap piece of paper during the exam. I bookmarked the table with all the formulas in the PMBOK and just studied it as much as I could. I am not great with math, so I was worried about this section on the exam, but the questions they ask are not bad/too hard. They use nice round numbers so it's easy to figure out. Unfortunately there's no way around it, you just have to study the formulas and memorize them as best you can.

With the new PMBOK v7 on the streets, PMI is still saying the CAPM is based off of PMBOK v6. This is at least true thru the end of the year for the PMP. But, has their been any indication from PMI that they are transitioning the CAPM to reflect the PMBOK v7 for next year?

I think PMI are taking a more Agile approach and they will be integrating new questions all the time - I believe both version of the PMBOK will remain relevat to the exam.
