Dear Community,

I prepared myself for the PMP exam's old version but, had to join with the new format and, unfortunately, couldn't achieve it. Do you have any suggestions for me?
Thanks in advance

It is tough at this point in time to tell as the new version of the exam just started and Ive heard there are lots of Agile / Hybrid questions.

You might want to wait couple of months so you see feedback from candidates.

Don't get discouraged, you will hopefully make it next time.

I'd agree with Rami's recommendations as there is very little verifiable information available from any source other than PMI at present. If you do need to re-take the exam in the near term, I'd recommend reviewing the reference books (ten) listed by PMI and pay special attention to your detailed exam analysis report so you know which areas need greater focus for your second attempt.

Good luck!

Özgür,

I would
- read, study and understand the Agile Practice Guide that comes with the PMBoK Guide - since 50% of questions are from the agile field, some early candidates say more than that
- try to reach 90%+ in the PMP mockup exams
- thoroughly analyze the exam content outline, it gives you 14+17+4 task that potentially are asked for in the exam, make sure you understand each of them
- if you can, get the syllabus of the PMI PMP prep materials

I have not yet seen a PMP Prep material that covers the new content well, to repeat what Rami and Kiron reflected on.
