PMBOK, page 220, 6.5.3.4;
"A schedule model may require more than one project calendar to allow for different work periods for some activities to calculate the project schedule."

How is it possible to have "more than one project calendar" in the same one schedule model [assuming Microsoft Project software] ?

Thank you.

I believe they are using the term "project calendar" in a different manner than how it is used with MSP. In MSP, a schedule can have only one effective project calendar. What I believe is meant in the PMBOK Guide is what we'd call a task calendar in MSP.

Thank you Kiron. That task calendar makes sense to have more than one.

You have to have multiple project calendars and multiple resource calendars to create one schedule just in case it applies. Inside Microsoft Project you have the possibility to create them and assign them at project and resource levels. Just to comment something obvious if you go to Microsoft Project web page and make a search you will find about it.

Thank you Sergio. Yes, you are right. I can apply different calendar settings for the different resources in the same Microsoft Project Schedule.
