Is the Citizen Developer Course eligible for PDUs

Although I can access the Citizen Developer Course (after having registered for it), it doesn't show up in my account and there is no formal record of this order or receipt. Will this eventually show up (as something more than a paypal receipt is required for my employment record of continuing development)? Also, is the course eligible for self-reporting PDUs?

Many thanks everyone.

Most courses won’t appear on your PMI account but if you did purchase it through your PMI account, it should appear under orders at the bottom of the list.

As for PDU’s, I would assume it is eligible and if they were not automatically reported after you finish the course, you can manually add them to your CCRS.

Hope this helps.

That's what I thought as well!

However, the course is definitely not in my orders list but was definitely ordered through my account (as that's the only way to access it once registered). How very curious and frustrating.

It was registered from this page (https://www.pmi.org/citizen-developer) while logged into my account if that's of any use?

Search for the course using the search string "Citizen Development" in the CCRS course name field of the Report PDUs form. PMI must have added it recently and it will give you 1 Technical and 1 Strategic PDU.

I got the following e-mail just now from Liz Jordan regarding this: "First, to those of you that have already taken the Citizen Developer Foundation Course, congratulations! I’ve greatly enjoyed seeing all the posts on LinkedIn. We now have the PDU claim code available. To claim your 2 PDUs, please use the PMI claim code 200026FET7."

Thanks so much for that update. I didn't see it before but I will have another look. I was wondering if we would get the claim code so it's good to know that it will eventually come through

I just purchased the course and I can't see the order under my orders. In fact, I can't see any of my orders other than the certifications orders. It might have to do with PMI working on migrating to a new platform / website interface.

I suggest you either contact customer care or just wait till the end of February (This is when they are supposed to fully move to the new interface as per feedback received from them on another issue).
