Now, I’m in progress of PgMP panel review.
Almost 2 weeks passed, I have not received any reply yet.
Exam handbook indicates that it takes up to 60days, however, some applicant’s web bogs sais that they were got the reply within 2 weeks.

How long does it take time generally, recent years?
Thanks,

Good day.

I've been in panel review since 27 February 2021. I have not received any feedback or comments. Is that normal or is it too early. My understanding is that this should take 60 days, which has passed.

Guys please advise?

Not sure how the 60 days passed if you're in panel review since 27 April 2021. That's 6 days only.

Due to the pandemic, I heard from so many candidates that panel review is taking up to 75 days so either you can wait or I suggwst you call PMI Customer Care. They are very helpful !

Congratulations Fujita. Am still in the waiting mode. But I find it agonizing. I had prepared for the exam for 5months , I might get mentally unprepared if it takes too long. 20-60weeks is along time . PMI should do something.

Looking at the new PgMP handbook issued in August 2020, looks like PMI revised the panel review period from 4 weeks to 60 days.

I was also rejected my first submitting at application review conducted by PMI.
The reason explained in reply e-mail is that I described strategic goals at “organizational level”, not program level.

I had to describe the goals at program level.
And other definitions were also ambiguity for me, such as vision, goal, objective, value, benefit, outcome, output and so on.

I thought that it is important to clear the goals at “program level” and the definition of related terms.
Hi Masaki, If rejected, do you have to submit payment again or do you have a chance to further elaborate on your summaries?

Previously, the PgMP handbook issued in October 2017 used to mention the following:

"PMI will refund you US$375 if you fail Evaluation 1 – Panel
Review, or if you have not yet scheduled or taken the PgMP examination."

However, the current handbook dated August 2020 doesn't mention anything about this which makes me believe that PMI reconsidered this and you will get full refund if you fail the Panel Review. To be on the safe side, better contact customer care for confirmation.

On another note, when the application goes to panel review, it takes up to 60 days for approval, and there can be three outcomes:

1) Application is Approved and you have then 1 year to pass the exam.

2) Panel will request additional information before makign a final decision.

3) Application is rejected.

Hope this helps.
