Hi All,
I am a Prince2 and MSP qualified Project Manager and currently pondering my next training step. Obviously it will be relevant to my current role, but I also want to make myself more marketable going forwards. Of course it can depend to a large degree on which path I intend to travel long term. However,

My thinking is either
P3O
ITIL
Change Management
AGILE

Any opinions welcome and appreciated..

Regards,

CL.

If you want to stay in projects and are already moving into programme management, I would opt for P30. If you want to broaden your experience and get some exposure to service management in an IT organisation, go for ITIL.

That's my view!

Those are some very different paths!

Personally I wouldn't see heading the ITIL route as a path from where you are, and P3O is only if you want to step away from the "frontline" project management.

Agile is a good choice, as it opens up roles that are projects including an Agile element (and many projects only have this for part of them, not the whole thing). Change management is good if you want to take the follow the MSP path and move more into programme rather than project management.
