I took the ACP 17 years after I wrote the PMP and found it significantly easier. I was in and out of the test center in about 45 minutes.
The only real prep I did was reading Andy Crowe's ACP self-study guide, but in reality, I could have likely passed without that based on the previous education and experience I had in agile.
I don't know if the exam questions level of difficulty has increased since 2017 as others in this community did indicate that they found it at least moderately difficult.

Thanks, Kiron. I already did a prep course that's certified by PMI but I was curious as to other's experiences were with this

Even i am planning to appear for pmi acp but finding difficult to read the pmi guide. I will check if Ande Crowe's guide helps or not. Saving Changes...
Even I have plan to take up PMI-ACP in near future but I want to wait a little and see the gain out of it. With PMI turning direction into including agile practices into the upcoming PMBOK guide, I think a refresher on PMP might be enough to gain the necessary insight into the agile way of working. And the already attained Scrum certifications would add to it (knowledge and credential wise).
At present, I am planning to take up ITIL foundation as next step. This gives diversity to my portfolio and knowledge into IT service management. I must say though that I already have some years of experience into service delivery.
Lastly, to your question on the ACP exam prep resources, I have heard that Mike Griffin's book is quite good and would be a good starter.
Well, I just scheduled the exam for the fall. I'm hoping I can take it in person at a testing center as I had issues taking a different certification remotely last year.
I'd like to give myself a slow ramp up to studying as it's heading into spring and summer here. Saving Changes...
Hi, Susan. I earned my PMI-ACP in March 2018. I started with the Agile Prepcast by Cornelius Fichtner and then used his Exam Simulator to find the gaps in my knowledge. I then decided to buy the PMI-ACP Exam Prep book by Mike Griffiths, read it cover-to-cover and did all the exercises. After all that, I sailed through the exam. In November 2018, I earned my CSM in a two-day class and found it much easier than the PMI-ACP, but that could be because of my earlier preparation.
