PMP application - Issues with the webpage?

Hi everyone,
I have been trying to commence my PMP application for a couple of days now without any success.
When I click on 'Apply now for your PMP' here https://www.pmi.org/certifications/project-management-pmp
the next page wouldn't just load and come up as blank - https://certification.pmi.org/launch/application/pmp

I have tried to clear the cookies and tried from 3 different devices but no luck.

I checked with the 24x7 chat on PMI but they said no such ongoing technical issue that they are aware of.

Has anyone else had this issue, perhaps?

Does one need to be a PMI member and/or a member of the local chapter in order to commence the application? I wouldn't think so; in case if that's the reason my application isn't loading at all..?

I called in to the customer care line and they advised me to disconnect from my VPN. That seemed to resolve the issue for me.

Hi Ashanti, good to know that the customer care line was able to help resolve your issue. In my case, I had to figure this one out on my own because when I contacted them, the customer care fellow kept on saying try again in 24 hours and on different devices; even when I kept on insisting I have already exhausted these measures!
Anyhow, yes I then tried on a fourth device with no VPN on it and it seemed to resolve the issue. It would be worthwhile for the PMI to put this in a little note or technical pre-reqs for filling in the application on their website.
Good Luck with your application and exam.

I had the same issue and it worked without VPN. My new issue is that I can't get passed the professional experience step. Anyone experience this?

Hi Susana, I haven't submitted my application through so do not know. However, this might happen if the entered number of months aren't enough to progress further, perhaps..???
Sorry cannot be of much help as of now.
But I will be submitting my application soon in the coming days and will surely let you know how I go.

Thanks,
Navjot

Hi Akbar, Can you try on another device perhaps? The internet connection should be direct to your WIFI without any VPN settings in between. Many of the work laptops often have VPNs.
Good Luck

Hi Varun,
Yes I was able to resolve it - please see my above comments.
Basically- try on a device with no VPN settings on it.
Many of the work devices have VPN settings- I was trying this on my work laptop and hence didn't work.
Give it a go.
Good Luck

Hello everyone,
I am having the same issue on my MacBook Air running Ventura 13.0 and am not on a VPN, connected at home directly to my Wi-fi.
When I click 'Apply Now For Your PMP' it starts loading and the application page flashes just for a second then I get a 'Something went wrong' message. I've cleared the cache, tried other browsers, and restarted to no avail. There seems to be something blocking this page from appearing.
The support person I spoke with said PMI does not run on Mac?! Can anyone help, please?
Thank you!

Hi Jane. I have the same issue. I'm also running on Ventura 13.6. I've only ever used my Mac and although I've had similar problems previously, it has eventually loaded. This time however, it isn't. My VPN is off also. What is extremely frustrating is that PMI don't seem to be owning any accountability and provide better support to this issue which has been ongoing for a couple of years now.

This is extremely frustrating. Running a fully up to date Mac, no VPN, and tried multiple browsers (Safari and Chome). I have been attempting to submit my ACP application for a week. Reached out to Chat support, but they were not helpful. Any help here? The app will open on my phone (but I can do the needed typing on my phone....)

Same error for me. This is to apply for DASM. No VPN. https://certification.pmi.org/launch/application/DASM . Anyone had luck applying or an alternate link?
