I was reading the topic of the Empower Team Members and Stakeholders in Exam Prep Special Offer 2021, and the material come out with those category terms, which confuse me.

Can anyone explain? I initial guess that 1. needs work - something need to be done before execute project management plan, 2. on track - your plan and no surprise, 3. super - supervising, on top of the project and controlled by the pm.

Kwok -

This doesn't sound like PMI's official PMP prep course material so can you let us know who the supplier of this resource is so that others who have purchased it might be able to respond?

I do agree with Kiron. It does not like a PMP preparation course!

Thanks you.

The case study of the Empower Team Members and Stakeholders is "project japan"

These 3 terms are not found in skill, technique and tools, as result it confuses me.

This is one of the topics of Exam Prep Special Offer 2021, and this *FREE* exam prep was offered by PMI at the end of December 2020. :)

Kiron's angle is quite ok

My guess is that if they are presented in that order and if they refer to the evaluation of an activity, deliverable or a stakeholder relationship then I'd say:

Needs work = below target/plan
On track = on target/plan
Super = ahead of target/plan

But that is a pure guess as this is not a taxonomy I've ever seen before.

Thanks again, I've studied a few other training topics for last few days, those 3 terms come from matching or multiple choices questions and you can pass a task once the answer match a "Super" option. As a result, I think those 3 terms are options/choice priority.

needs work = worst choice/option
on track = average choice/option
super = best/collect choice/option

Individuals who were planning to give PMP in 2020, but could not appear due to the Pandemic, were provided with additional E-Learning courses which they could access from their PMI logins. The above question has been asked from that material

Further chapters revealed the following:
Needs Work - Prone to Failure
On Track - Moderate Chance of Success
Super - High Chance of Success
