I got my CAPM a few weeks ago and I'm not sure where to go next. I'm a former office manager who got into project management in hopes of moving on up and doing something new. Unfortunately, it's still difficult to find a job in project management. What should I do in the meantime? Are there other ways to get experience?

Hi Patrick,
Congratulations on earning your CAPM. I'll advise you join a local PMI chapter.. Interactions there may get you something great. Saving Changes...
I second the idea of joining your local chapter for the networking opportunities. Also I'd target project assistant or junior project manager type roles first as most standard project manager jobs want a PMP and more experience. Good work as a project assistant or junior PM will move you up the ranks as you gain experience and then you can eventually sit for the PMP Saving Changes...
