Joseph -

I'd recommend checking the threads in the Certification Central discussion group as that is the place where most certification-related dialogue happens.

There is no "best" method - it is based on your learning and preparation needs. Some folks find they need a live PMP prep course, others make do with an on-demand one, and others are fine with just a self-study guide.

I'd suggest taking a quality (like paid) practice exam to act as a baseline for your readiness. That will help you know how far you need to go to get ready...

I fully agree with @Kiron. It is not because I do not want to answer, it is because this topic was discussed lot of times and inside the threads you will find lot of very useful comments.

I recommend Rita Mulcahy's certification prep, it's a good option to start acquiring PM Knowledge, and is updated to the 2021 exam. Visit this link:

I would second Kiron & Veronica. Rita Mulcahy's prep is excellent, and it certainly depends on your learning style. Practice questions will definitely be critical!

I would also suggest utilizing multiple resources outside of the PMBOK guide. PMBOK is a great place to start, however it is not the end all be all for exam prep. I took to YouTube as well, especially when it came to learning the formulas, and the differences between certain key terms. Certainly you will want to ensure the resources are credible. Goodrich Learning Solutions on YouTube is awesome. ProjectManagement.com is also extremely useful.

Best of luck to you!

Hi Joe,
My recommendation may sound simple but I think it's important for you to first ascertain if you've sufficiently prepared by completing a course material, if yes... boldly go for the examinations
