Hi everyone,

Are there any good resources for developing skills in undertaking quantitative risk assessments using R? This is primarily for infrastructure projects.

What is "R"? One-letter acronyms are quite a challenge. Maybe I should respond by just typing "W".

R is a statistical software package...

Thanks Kiron. It just seems to me that if posters want a considered response to their posts they should be a bit more specific. I suppose if I am not not familiar with their jargon (or acronyms) they don't feel I have anything of value to offer. However, sometimes the best insight comes from outside the bubble.

As I have an interest in risk management I can now follow up and maybe learn something.

I'd take a class in R or read a book to gain these skills - there's a good O'Reilly book on R and a lot of courses out there.

Upside is R is open-source so you don't need a license (unlike SAS).
