Is Risk Management training for SOC 2 certification eligible for PDUs?

I am getting twice weekly one-on-one training in risk management from a consultant my company hired. It aligns well with my PMP risk management training. How would I categorize this learning when I apply for PDUs and would it be eligible?

This kind of learning should be eligible. If it is a formal training and you will get a completion certificate at the end of the training then you can manually claim PDU’s under Education “Course or Training” category but if it is informal training then you can claim your PDU’s under Education “Informal Learning”.

Just make sure you have some sort of proof for those training hours in case you were audited. Hope this helps.
