Hi Bejamin, PMP exam is generally difficult. Starting 2021 the exam structure has been modified to more practical and agile approach testing. Individuals must study well and practice on exam questions for better results. I cleared my PMP exam in February with this new pattern. There are free preparation material available in 'Library' section if you are PMI member. Kindly make best use of the material and I am sure you'll succeed. Wish you all the very best!

Thanks Vikrant. Indeed I found it more practical & agile based than the old exams that I found in most practice tests. Unfortunately I didn't study the material in the 'Library' yet I'm a PMI member - am gonna do that starting today because I need to resit before April 18th in order to utilize the discount.

I am finding myself not prepared enough even after studing for weeks. how long did you study for the exam?
Can you guide how you finished the syllabus and prepared for the exam?

Hey Benjamin, you can use the 'Library' section to gain access to few exam questions too. additionally you can explore Free resources on https://www.eduhubspot.com/simulator/pmp/tests/introduction this site does have 25 timed questions per section. Timed practice is always helpful. Wish you all the very best again. Keep us posted here when you pass your certification exam.

Hi Shibani, I was anxious before giving this attempt too. To be honest, this was my second attempt so preparation-wise it depends on you and your comfort zone. I would strongly recommend practicing your knowledge by attempting few practice tests with timer. It helps in boosting confidence to attempt the exam. Another tip I can share is to make yourself familiar with new pattern of exam, which is more practical and has healthy Agile cover. Wish you all the very best with your exams.

Hi Ben! The PMP was the most challenging and anxiety inducing exam I’ve ever taken! Honestly, what got me through on my third attempt was the RMCLS book and practice test. It’s the most comprehensive practice exam practice out there. All the others are “good” but as my failed two attempts can attest, they don’t get all the way there.

I've passed my exam on first try, just study from PMBOK 6th, Rita 10th and Agile Practice Guide, for practice test i use internet free test simulator (lovepmp.com), but on real test, the form of the questions I got was much different from those in Rita's book and free simulator. I read the question 2 to 3 times, understood the point and answered the question, all question is situational based question, 50% question based on hybrid & agile life cycle, and 50% others based on predictive life cycle, if you understand the concept, then the questions will be answered.
