I need help from candidates who have passed the new PMP exam. I found it difficult and different, the exam practice materials I got didn't help me.

Hi Ben! The PMP was the most challenging and anxiety inducing exam I’ve ever taken! Honestly, what got me through on my third attempt was the RMCLS book and practice test. It’s the most comprehensive practice exam practice out there. All the others are “good” but as my failed two attempts can attest, they don’t get all the way there.
I've passed my exam on first try, just study from PMBOK 6th, Rita 10th and Agile Practice Guide, for practice test i use internet free test simulator (lovepmp.com), but on real test, the form of the questions I got was much different from those in Rita's book and free simulator. I read the question 2 to 3 times, understood the point and answered the question, all question is situational based question, 50% question based on hybrid & agile life cycle, and 50% others based on predictive life cycle, if you understand the concept, then the questions will be answered.

PMI is moving to more situational and practical question approach. Lengthy questions for me. Try to understand the question in the first read, even if you have to go slow as time management is the KEY. If you done with studies and understand the concepts , I would suggest to "learn with mocks ". Although none of the mocks are at the same level as the real exam but still, you'll learn how to answer predictive, hybrid and agile question.

Personally, I am very happy with the newer format which is more agile-based, I was scared of the earned value calculation which was minimal. glad to state that I passed it in April on my first try
