Hello there, I will be graduating with my masters in PM here in a few short weeks. Looking to prepare and take the PMP as soon as I can/feel ready. Any recent exam takers for the 2021 version have any tips/hints/suggestions of material to get? I was considering dropping $149 for the PMP exam simulator. Obviously I got the "Good Book" (PMBOK). but would like suggestions on others

I recommend Rita Mulcahy's certification prep, it's a good option to start acquiring PM Knowledge, and is updated to the 2021 exam. Visit this link:

I just took the PMP exam yesterday and passed.

I took a 35 hr Boot Camp/PMP Prep class but I didn't think it was helpful it just got me the hours I needed to meet that education requirement.

I studied the PMBOK and the Agile Practice Guide as well as watched YouTube Videos recorded by Aileen Ellis and PMPwithRay. I looked for all types of free PMP practice exams.

Most of my questions were situational like what do you do next; what could you have done to prevent this; what will you do to prevent this in the future; how will you address resource availability.

The questions I had were very wordy as well as the answers so get used to reading quicker than average to be able to read and process the question and answers.

If you can can free 4 hour practice exams, they will help you get used to sitting and reading for 4 hours.
Some additional books recommended in my class were:
1. Project Management (12 Ed.) by Harold Kerzner
2. Effective Project Management by Robert K. Wysocki
3. The Project Management Tool Kit: 100 Tips and Techniques for Getting the Job Done Right, Edition 3 by Tom Kendrick (e-book)
4. Project Manager's Portable Handbook (3rd) by David Cleland and Lewis Ireland
Congratulations Linda
Your lessons learned are highly appreciated

InterfaceTT.com offered the course. Don't get me wrong the instructor was nice, but I didn't find the material covered all that would be on the exam. I found myself using other books, videos and online resources.

Congratulations Everyone! I am also did the 4 day boot camp and walk out with the books but the training was very poor. My exam is in 4 weeks. Looking for recommendation of what YouTubes to watch and where can I find 2021 practice exams. I found a PM Exam Simulator site cost of 299.00 but not sure if it is worth the money.
