Hi Daniele,
If Project's standard reports aren't what you need (and let's face it, they're not very good, are they?) then I'd sugest you first start by exporting the data you need into Excel and seeing if that allows you to manipulate it in the way you need.
You can do this simply by doing a 'Save As', then choosing the Excel file format. The Export Wizard will then launch, allowing you to choose the data you want in your report.
Hope this helps.

Daniele,

If you are looking for a tool that works with Microsoft Project 2007 to build better charts, you might consider OnePager Pro from Chronicle Graphics. It imports your data directly from MS Project and then lets you build better looking schedule reports. OnePager Pro plugs directly in to MSP, so it's pretty convenient.

I'd be happy to demonstrate OnePager Pro for you if you are interested.

I'll second Safford's recommendation of One Pager Pro (Chronical Graphics). The tool uses the "Flag" fields to select a subset of tasks (for example, summary tasks) and generates a view that you may customize. You may capture new versions of the same view saving all the formating - OPP maintains the dates. In other words, you can't fudge the dates - they are pulled directly from MS Project.

I got a demo from Safford a few months ago, took a trial, and bought the tool. I've received lots of positive feedback from executives who like the easy to read high-level view.

Alan
