I am currently working as Executive Engineer and Project Manager in my current position. Here I have to manage projects which falls under my office's Supervision as well and i am sole responsible for projects. along with the Executive position in my office to deal with staff and other documentations. i want to get a job as project manager in a gaming industry. but i am very confused about it, although i have executed multi-million projects and successfully completed it, but when it comes to gaming industry with all my skills and experience, it unknown to me that whether my experience would count as portfolio in terms of gaming industry?

I am not from the gaming industry but I can imagine this is crazy agile, informal, and big pressure when milestone comes :)

I worked in that industry for a long time. Gaming industry is basically software product industry. But, with some important difference: there are several teams that do not belongs to software and just use software as a tool to create different components of a game. You will find designers, mathematicians, etc. So, at the end, is the same than other type of projects: you have to coordinate and facilitate multi cultural, multi discipline teams.

Regardless of the industry, you need sufficient domain knowledge to be viewed as credible when you apply. How are you going about bridging your knowledge gaps between your current and desired industry?

Kiron Bondale, first of all thank you,
secondly i have been working on new knowledge which can cover the gaps from my current industry to new industry. apart from few things i have found most of the things of basic PM knowledge, sometime terminologies are changed but practical work remains the same to get it done properly. looking forward to hear from you.

Although I don't work in that industry, I know several people who do, and agree with Sergio. There are many different project teams involved, especially in the larger companies. At Microsoft for example, one PM friend of mine would tell you that project management is project management. Another works in their data science department and that requires a much higher degree of technical expertise in the field.

Yes, I trust it and see nothing wrong with it. The main thing is to control your emotions and not let the passion control you, and then everything will definitely work out. I can recommend the website https://nodepositz.com/casinomax/ where you can choose a top casino for yourself. If you count all the money I won there, it will be a very impressive amount.
