This is something that I've been trying throughout the month of April. Every day, I'll try to do/read/learn something that makes me a better project manager /leader. So far, I've done:
- written blog articles
- spoken at an event /answered questions
- attended an online conference to learn more about a specific topic I'm interested in pursuing
- read a few leadership articles
- did a mentoring session and had some advice on a current issue I have in my project.

What are some things you'd consider?

To grab some experience we have to be soked in quite a lot daily routine, while to be real experienced we have to find the parts realy inspiring,we don't have to change only if it is neccessary.

Writing makes me a better writer. Speaking makes me a better speaker. Therefore, to be a better project manager, I have to manage projects. Be bold and look beyond your comfort zone. Use personal "projects" as opportunities to try something different.

Mine has been more in the realm of listening to podcasts and videos on leadership as of late.

I am also doing and planning on doing the following:

* Reviewing the PMBOK guide and getting a sense of how my current organization works.
* Continuing to manage expectations vertically/laterally.
* Reading Agile and Project Management articles and books.
* Listening to webinars.
* Participating in Agile and PMI events.

When I updated my profile in projectmanagement.com, I discovered that are so much to learn in this site to become a better project manager. Through watching on-demand webinars and joining in live-webinars, I learned a lot from the speakers how they applied their knowledge as PMP. Also, through this site, I have a lot of new connections. Hope that I can share my experience too.
