Do anybody get new job after pass PMP ?

I got information that big company prefer PMP Certificate but in Thailand I see only IT that request this certificate so do anybody know or get a new job after pass PMP ?

Yes, I've been hired into multiple positions where although it did not say so in the job postings, I learned that without the PMP, I would not have made it past the HR filtering process.

I think having the certification puts you ahead of others that may not have the certification. I do feel my profile is being reviewed more by recruiters since i have posted that i have my PMP.

I've seen companies in the industry other than IT have PMP in their qualification/requirement. They need a person who can run their "operations or business as usual" and manage projects, from time to time, to support business growth.
