Looking for the Tracking and Time Sheet solution-oriented more to resource management than project management.

Need a recommendation from You, Guys!

Short Specification of Needed Features.
• Ability to define resource by name and organization,
• Resources assignment to projects,
• Tracking spent time by the resource on the project,
• Easy interfacing and integration to other open systems,
• Should be simple and easy to deploy.

No need to keep Project Definition (there is another system for this).
But they would need to be integrated.

NOW. Important.

Better if not cloud architecture. This is for a state-owned bank. They do not like the public cloud.

Any suggestions?

Hello Marek,

Gouti is a PM tool with timesheets and capacity planning features. Based on project management concepts, project managers assign people on projects and tasks. The user is able to report time on tasks his assign on. The managers have detailed or consolidated views for the previsionals, the actuals and are able to view users availabilities.
The tool is on SaaS (so you can test it for free) but also available on Premises.
There are regular presentation webinars if you want to have more information.
Hope this will help you.

Agree with Christian. The capacity planning is based on Forecast for the year and how many resources you have. If you do a detailed estimate using MS Project where you know the number of resources, hours and the project hours, the software tells you when resource is overloaded with a red icon. There is really no need to track resource usage if this is planned and done right. The actual resource suage like what Christian says is in the time sheet of the project.
