Start on Upwork or Fiverr or similar platforms. Gain experience and feedback from customers from there and once you have a solid portfolio you can look for a more stable role in a employee role.
You can also search for companies that allow WFH (Salesforce for example) and try there.
You do not require agile qualifications, but it might be good to know a little bit about agile :)
And you have a lot of resources on here (On demand webinars, white papers etc) as well as free MOOCs on platforms like coursera, udemy, edx etc Saving Changes...
Experience first, then certifications. If you want to get a foundation in agile, then read a book or take a non-certification course and apply what you've learned.

It's mandatory to choose an agile approach to be a remote Project Manager. Since Project Management is a Cookbook, agile is only a recipe. So, first, focus in acquire Project Management knowledge, and then you can do an agile course to add a plus.

@Adela Yes I had a look on fiverr. It is very vast and so what scary :S but at some point I will have to try it to see how it goes.
@Kiron I am trying so hard to get these experiences :D it is not easy for a non-IT professional to get agile experience since most companies associate Agile with technology development. Yes Agile can be applied in school also and any other fields. I guess I will have to create myself that opportunity.
@Rami Thank for the recommended book I will have a look.
@veronica Thank you for your advice. I guess I will have to gain more Agile knowledge & Experience. Saving Changes...
