Hi Sandra. I have been working with some cloud migration projects. I think a template depends on the migration approach as replatform, rehosting or complete reingeniering or rebulding o buying a new solution. previous year I work on replatform and rehosting and now i am working in building the application in cloud strategy. We can share some approaches depends on with strategy are you using in each case. the entire program for cloud migration is different incorporating other factors in addition to the technical migration depends on the organization maturity in cloud. now I am worksing as well in creating some foundation and control tower models for integrating different companies in the same foundation it is another flavor for cloud migration Saving Changes...

I have participated in this type of initiatives and if I should have to write something is totally aligned to @Dora comment above. In my personal experience the last paragraph about the impacts inside the organization is a must. For example, which type of information will be in the cloud? What about the emails belonging to the CEO, VPs? What the emails with information about R&D (research and development)? What about if you have to go to the CEO and you have to say "please give your notebook because is something I have to modify in it"? just in case you have to do that. And lot of things like that. As everything which is part of a transformation the technical aspect are only a component inside the whole enterprise architecture to transform. So, as in other type of things, getting a template will not help people a lot. Saving Changes...
