Priyanka AgarwalProject Manager - Business Excellence| AccentureJaipur, Rajasthan, India
Am currently Project managing a initiative in one of the hill towns of Uttrakhand, India. Town and its neighboring areas have very difficult terrains and missing day to day needs like basic healthcare, education, jobs etc, The place has more than 5000+ college age students but doesn't have any professional, technical skills, higher education avenues for them. Most of them need to migrate to bigger cities for better earning opportunities and leave their roots and culture forever. So, one of the NGOs have determined to setup a paramedical degree college (optometry, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Dentistry etc) in that town that would not only make the young adults professionally qualified but satisfying careers for them. They will be able to fulfill their Personal Social Responsibility and will provide better healthcare facilities in that area. College is slotted to open from 2021-22 academic year with 2 courses. As project manager, I am taking care of Planning, feasibility, readiness, funds availability, branding and commercial viability for the same.
