Good Morning All - I am looking for some help/insight on PgMP certification exam preps. Everyone has there own best way to prepare for exams like these. When preparing for my PMP exam years ago, I found Dr. Harold Kerzner's book "Project Management - A Systems Approach to Planning, Scheduling, and Controlling" to be my most valuable resource. Particularly, the format of the book was beneficial...structured like a college textbook, with topical chapters, chapter review questions and summary knowledge exams. Are any of you aware of a similarly formatted textbook for Program Management? Which would you recommend?
Many thanks in advance! Saving Changes...

I am currently preparing to sit for the PgMP and personally, unlike other exams I’ve done, I find the PgM guide by PMI sufficient but that’s my personal opinion. On top of that, I will do some simulation exams and that’s it for me.

Robert,
as for books, I used the standard and the ECO as core references, though there are some inconsistencies.
On top of that I used late Ginger Levin's prep book, the prep book by Bellec/Grouin. Later I found the MSP standard (by UK gov) very readable and useful.
I did all learning myself, as many do, and wasted time running in circles sometimes. Today I would recommend using a bootcamp and mentoring during exam prep, safes time for small money.
The application itself can be a hurdle, much more important than the PMP exam application to get it right.
