I browsed the topics and read through the comments, and the answers is almost the same in every thread. The people with CAPM certificates are strugling to find work to gian experience to move on towards their PMP cerification. The answers from PMP holders are always the same: to gain more experience and become PMP qualified. This cannot happen without a job as a junior PM, Coordinator or Project Lead etc.
My question is how many of you qualified Project Managers have actually employed CAPM Certified guys in your companies or tried to assist CAPM certifieds to gain employment in general? Instead of the usual replies of us to find work and gain experience... Saving Changes...
Nice question. That being said, the PMs are not necessarily those who hire/ set the hiring requirements for companies.
When it comes to employment, certificates are only one factor out of tons of them, and most likely the weakest one. Saving Changes...
The PM usually has the power to sellect his own team especialy in the construction field. In IT I know what you said is valid as the PM is on the company payroll, and his team is also internally sourced. Thanks for the feedback! Saving Changes...
