I'm looking to prepare and get the PMP this year appreciate if you could guide me on the below:
1) Is PMI® Authorized On-demand PMP® Exam Prep + PMBOK 7th edition enough preparation for the exam? Would I need more paid resources to prepare?
2) My title is not PM at my current job therefore is there a specific way I should write about my 36 months of PM experience , appreciate all tips. As I will be asking to expanse the exam and the preparation the last thing I want would be to tell my employer that my experience was not matching the requirements and that the training was a waste.
3) Any better ideas to prepare than the one mentioned on my first question.
1. It really depends on your current level of "readiness". If you are someone who learns better from live education, then an instructor-led prep course might be a better bet. Alternately, if you prefer to study solo, then a self-study guide might be better than an on-demand or live course. Finally, the Seventh Edition is not a reference for the current exam (yet). The Sixth Edition and a number of other references are. Regardless of the path you take, please do complete a few quality practice exams before writing the exam so you know if you are ready or not - you should get scores in the high 80s to be confident of passing the real thing.
2. PMI doesn't care what title you had - it is all about what you did. Make sure that your descriptions talk about the PM-specific activities spanning the full life cycle and drop in references to specific key artifacts and processes.

Solid feedback from Kiron - I would add that you should also probably look at PM PrepCast for Simulation Practice Exams. Those will help you prepare and boost your level of confidence.
