After about 16 months of enquiry about the hard copy of my certificate earned in March 2020, PMI Customer care finally told me today that I wouldn't be receiving a hard copy of my certificate because PMI no longer issues hard copies of certificates. I really don't know how to feel about this. The digital copy can't replace the hard copy.
Anyone with such worries too? Saving Changes...
The hard copy is nice to have, but all it does is sit in a folder, in a cabinet, in my home office. I've seen people frame them and hang them on their walls at work, but putting your credentials on display isn't as beneficial as it once might have been - at least not where I've worked.
No. If I want a poster-sized version I can now download and print it at a print shop. Back when I first got my credentials, you couldn't download them...

Have you seen the downloadable ones? They look fake... the seal is terrible. I can see them giving us the ability to use Credley, but as much as you pay and study to be certified... at least they can send a proper certificate to the ones that want one. Including me!

Hard copy is nice to have but Digital is fine for me too as I support environmental friendly initiatives. Between the certificate itself and envelop, thats too much paper per person just to have it sit in a folder awaiting renewal in three years.
Like Kiron, if I need to, I can print it and frame it.
It's because organizations are considering measures to fight climate change, a critical theme that makes the earth in danger. You can print your digital version on cardboard, and obtain a well-looked certificate, ready to frame.
