After about 16 months of enquiry about the hard copy of my certificate earned in March 2020, PMI Customer care finally told me today that I wouldn't be receiving a hard copy of my certificate because PMI no longer issues hard copies of certificates. I really don't know how to feel about this. The digital copy can't replace the hard copy.
Anyone with such worries too? Saving Changes...

It's because organizations are considering measures to fight climate change, a critical theme that makes the earth in danger. You can print your digital version on cardboard, and obtain a well-looked certificate, ready to frame.
I totally agree with you, Having such original prints of important certificates like Graduation or PMP . .. with its unique watermark that makes it more remarkable Saving Changes...

I understand your point. And I agree with you. My feeling is a matter of cost reduction. Unfortunately the only thing we can do is print ourselves the digital certificate. But is not the same. For example, is not the same paper type which each one can find to do that. I am feeling in the last time that it has not much sense to be a PMI member mainly in countries like mine where the dollar amount to pay for the service we receive has no justification. PMI has loose focus on customers. Saving Changes...
No. If I want a poster-sized version I can now download and print it at a print shop. Back when I first got my credentials, you couldn't download them...
Have you seen the downloadable ones? They look fake... the seal is terrible. I can see them giving us the ability to use Credley, but as much as you pay and study to be certified... at least they can send a proper certificate to the ones that want one. Including me!

Including me too... We deserve it especially if you earned your PMP before the decision not to issue hard copies of certificates

I agree with your assessment on this matter, at least from my perspective.

I just received (April, 13, 2022) my hard copy PMP certificate from PMI after two years of requesting (From March 30, 2020)... I am excited and it's a great motivation for me. I'd been mailing the Customer Care ([email protected]) for two years and finally took to twitter to register my complaint. I was asked by Chelsea M - Customer Advocate Analyst to contact [email protected]. I did that on April 04, and 3days after Glenn D. Farrow CSPO® sent a mail telling me my certificate had been dispatched via UPS and yesterday I was in possession of it.
If you got certified before the "no hard copy policy" came into place you can request for it if you need it.
