I gave my exam on 26th Feb evening and immediately got a printout of the preliminary result. And it said I would have to wait for 48 hours to get the official result after all review is completed.

PMP exam results are typically available immediately after you complete the exam at a test center. However, if you take the online proctored exam, you'll receive your results within a few days via email from the PMI (Project Management Institute).
