TOC Advanced Reading Recommendations?

I am interested in any recommendations to learn more about Theory of Constraints for greater insight and applicability.

The more I read and map out how it applies to my current workplace challenges, the more I want to dig deeper and explore ways I can use this as a more formal framework for the heuristics I have adopted over my career.

With so much information out there, I'm hoping to focus my reading list and would greatly appreciate if you have any sources you find especially useful.

Thank you,
Keith Novak

Audible has a lot of audiobooks on TOC. The four I've listened to are:

- The Goal
- Beyond the Goal
- It's Not Luck
- Critical Chain

A few years ago, there was an attempt to start a local chapter of TOC Institute, but I don't think it lasted. TOC Institute does have a website with resources on it.

Keith -

A great book which looks at the application of TOC to delivery work is Steve Tendon and Daniel Doiron's Tame Your Work Flow.

It is a "heavy" read, both in terms of the size and depth of the content but it is excellent!

Thanks Kiron.

Apparently that book is now out of print although Tendon has a "new edition" The Book of TameFlow" which is still in draft form, and what look like some spin-offs such as "Hyper-Productive Knowledge Work Performance" tailored to scrum and Kanban.

Perhaps Mr. Tendon and Mr. Dorion had a parting of ways, although I'm surprised I can't even find used copies.

Correct - Steve and Daniel have parted ways so not surprising that Steve would re-publish the book. It is a somewhat pricey book which is why the used market is limited but it is worth its weight in gold!
