Agile Hybrid Project Pro (AHPP) Certification Questions

I am just reaching out to get any feedback on the Agile Hybrid Project Pro (AHPP) certification. What are some thoughts of the content offered by PMI that you learn on your own? Is this a certification that is well recognized? It seems like it is going along with the current trends of the industry and the latest PMBOK. Thanks in advance everyone! Saving Changes...

Does the AHPP exam cover all aspects of Agile (i.e. XP, Scrum, Lean, Crystal, DSDM, etc) and would it make more sense to study content for PMI-ACP Exam Prep Seminar found on udemy.com which is worth 21 PDUs toward your PMP? By the way, that udemy course was a very economical means to learn about Agile without reading a book, it covered 7 areas - agile principles, value driven delivery, stakeholder engagement, team performance, adoption planning, problem detection/resolution, and continuous improvement.

Tough to answer those question. I can't advise on a course I haven't taken nor can I recall what topics did the exam cover but the exam for sure wasn't so difficult so a general knowledge of agile would suffice in my opinion.

Hi, two quick question for members who have finished the AHPP program:
Do you recall if the practice questions are timed? I know the exam itself is 60 questions in 75 minutes. Wondering if there's a time limit for the practice too.
Also, does anyone know how many of the 60 questions must be correct to pass the exam? It would be good to know if a 'D' is a passing grade (60% correct). Or if you need to get a C (70% correct) or even more.
Appreciate any insight from the group. Thanks!

Thank you, Rami for the insight. I am reading the Agile Practice Guide which according to the AHPP description is one of the books the micro-credential is based on. I am going to keep reading that and provide any feedback or questions I may have to this post.

Micro-credentials don't have a lot of traction in my job market, yet.
There was a lot of reading material. Some really good information, and some really dry information. A lot of important concepts for a PM to understand, but not a lot of it was covered by exam questions.
I liked the attention given to organizational change. The piece I felt the course missed was practical examples of hybrid models. I understand that PMI probably doesn't want to come across as defining a specific hybrid model, but don't expect to finish the course knowing how to apply a specific hybrid model to your next project.
I just purchased the PMI-ACP Exam Prep Book. I think at this point, I'll just use it as a reference. I simply don't have the years experience in I.T./SDLC that becoming certified ACP will make much of a difference as I come from the non-I.T. companies. I like Rami's description of 'adaptive-waterfall' instead for those not in the I.T. industry. Any comments are welcomed. I'm focusing my time for April on passing the ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt in May. Maybe I'll retake the AHPP afterwards using the ACP Book as reference.

Since I don't know your career goals, take this with a grain of salt. Given that you are pursuing 6Sigma certification, You might be better served going after Value Stream Management and Disciplined Agile credentials than the AHPP. There is a VSM micro-credential and, after you take the DASSM, you can take the DAVSC class. It emphasizes value streams, but takes a different approach than 6Sigma that I feel is complimentary and seems easier to use when working with non-manufacturing groups, like marketing and IT (where I'm using it).
Taking the micro-credential class, first, seems like it would be a good way to get an introduction to DA value streams to see if they meet your needs without the cost of the full DA credential classes.
I don't recommend that credential. Not even due to reason which were already mentioned. The report from exam is not showing any value than 'Failed/ Passed'. Which gives you no clue where you are with your knowledge, no matter if you pass or not. Completely disappointing.. Saving Changes...

I just finished the Agile Hybrid Project Pro course & exam, and I have to say that the course alone may not be sufficient to pass the examination at the end. I highly recommend additional study material as the examination questions are situational, rather than knowledge based. It honestly felt like I was taking my PMP exam all over again (the new 2021 version), just in a shorter time-box. Definitely keep an eye on the clock if you are doing the exam.
I would agree with this. I didn't find the course material helped me at all on the accompanying quiz. I managed 50% correct and that was largely from personal experience. Saving Changes...
