I am looking for a consultant or a consulting company to review my company's existing PM toolkit and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement. We are looking to have the entire set of processes and procedures analyzed for gaps, risks, shortfalls, etc.

Any recommendations for that type of PM process deep dive?

Sherman,

other aspects of such a review could be the business and human side.

Business side: how well do the processes support your business value chain? Are there any measurements? Is there some flexibility to adapt to circumstances coming up?

Human side: how well are the processes accepted and utilised by the people? Is there any (anonymous) feedback from them? Are they trained, do they understand the purpose, do they have access to support?

And finally, I guess you are asking for this independent review for some reason. You may have a list of issues, even prioritised. So look at these, and identify how many issues can be attributed to the areas of processes, business and humans.

Thank you Thomas, good points that should be considered in the assessment as well. I think we do have issues in the business side for sure, and we are misaligned on some of the procedures vs. what is truly needed.
