This has less to do with the PMP and more about general guidance for requesting a pay increase. Unless your leaders value the PMP and have a track record of giving bonuses or salary increases for attaining it, you will likely have to make a compelling "sales pitch" for why you feel a pay increase is warranted. What benefits do you believe it will provide to the leadership team and the organization?

I agree with Kiron. I’ve rarely heard of anyone who got a raise just because they achieved their PMP unless this was a company requirement with a promise for salary increase upon achievement.
You can always ask, but I suggest you make a compelling pitch that goes beyond your PMP achievement only.

I really never heard about a raise after getting the certification, maybe a title change from project assistant/coordinator to project manager, but not more... Saving Changes...

A pay raise should be based on the value you provide to your employer. If your PMP certification means your employer can generate more revenue (for example, by charging clients more for your services) then, by all means, make that case to your manager. Saving Changes...
