Toward continuous learning, in conducting a typical project debrief (a post-implementation review or postmortum) I usually have team members identify anonymously (by specific phase of the project: Specific strengths, Improvement Opportunities and Recommendations that I summarize in a final report. I would like to be able to quantify the benefits of having conducted the project debrief. What suggestions does anyone have to demonstrte the value added of doing project debriefs? Thank you!! Saving Changes...
I think following will be helpful in doing project debriefs Did our stakeholders, and customers, satisfied completely? If not, how could we improve our efforts to gain their satisfaction? What was the single most ugly part of our project? How would you do things differently next time to meet deadlines and avoids failures? Which of our methods or processes were difficult or frustrating to use? And which worked particularly well? What was the most repugnant and delightful part of the project?
I hope this will help in estimating and managing your next project better. Saving Changes...
