Volunteer and Employment Opportunities ???

Hello Project Community! Several years ago I earned my CAPM and most recently added PMP to my certification. My goal is to continually improve my project skills, and I’m interested in paid and volunteer roles. Your support and suggestions are welcome. Do you know of opportunities where I can put my work to work? Is this a good forum for this type of request?

This is my first post and I would like to be more involved with the PMI project community. Please send me your feedback.

I'd suggest checking with your local PMI chapter for geographically close volunteer opportunities and with PMI's online VRMS for virtual ones or those which will support global HQ initiatives.

Thanks Kirion, I have considered joining a couple of the local chapters to get to know area project professionals. I would love to see their volunteer positions on the PMI board.

to add to Kiron's advice, https://vrms.pmi.org/ is the system to create your profile and look at the hundreds of volunteer positions at Chapters and PMI global. You can even set alerts for certain areas, as new positions are added continuously.

Many volunteer positions nowadays can be done virtually.

Carmieshra, just like my fellow colleagues mentioned, VRMS is your best bet. I always find great volunteering opportunities there.
