Cost justifying Project management to a Client

Being new to PM , can anyone give me advise on how I could cost justify project management as part if an IT project.

Kevin, I would not try to cost justify PM to a client. I would just bundle it into the project itself. It is the method that you will use to do the work. If a plumber is working on your house, you do not ask them to cost justify their plumbing approach. The client is paying for the project outcome not the process. Keep them focused on ROI of the project and not the process used to achieve it.
