Creating sustainability in an organization involves more than just defining a vision or developing a new product. It involves creating a long-term plan that explicitly addresses the organization's sustainability goals. Not only do sustainability factors need to be incorporated into the project portfolio selection criteria, but the deliverables associated with accomplishing the sustainability goals need to be incorporated into the portfolio of projects.
