Jeffrey,

acquire the skills how to quickly acquire the skills (technical or not) needed for your next engagement. Build your wisdom.

This means e.g. learn how to listen, question, be non-judgemental, always take multiple perspectives, be humble, be able to live with uncertainty, have strategies to tackle problems, exert self-control...

A good start for all of these is to look at your emotional intelligence and improve it.
