Hi to esteemed Project Management Fraternity. I want to pursue a career change to PMP. What online programs will members recommend one to start with? Secondly, which online programs and course outlin

Trying to transition to PMP and soliciting your recommendations as to the start of the process beginning from online programs with accreditation and good standing to course components.

Hi Sediu;

I think you need to start the PMI-PMP certification journey.
After that you need to practice the knowledge you gain with a certified PMP Project manager.

PMP is a certification as you know. If you are talking about project management think very careful about it. The project management role is changing and I can say (but just my opinion) will "disappears" at least as we know today. If you like to follow "the PMI way" my recommendation is taking a look to all related to DA (Discipline Agile), not because I think it is what you have to use (just to comment, I am using DA from the time it was created long time before it was acquire by the PMI) just because it provides "the framework" and way of working and thinking the project manager has to have.

The road to PMI's PMP requires at least 36 months of project management experience. I suggest you worry about building that experience. Then, you can start worrying about getting the education contact hours necessary for the certification.
