Hello all.
I was the first hire at a tech startup that provides services related to people, process, and technology in the legal space. We are exploding in size—I was the first hire in May and now we have 30 people and a huge backlog of clients we can't get to until we hire up again.
As department head for project management, I am building up the PMO and setting standards, processes, and strategy around all things PM in our company. I would LOVE the opportunity to spitball ideas or find some mentoring and coaching from an exec who has been there before. I want to get this right so we can scale up efficiently and effectively.
We're doing some pretty cool stuff as far as managing projects go: big data, meetings in the metaverse with Oculus headsets, etc. But, as fun as all of that is, I want to keep things tight on the PM front!

Totally agree Abolfazi. But, every chapter is different. When I lived in Washington, DC, there were tons of opportunities to connect. However, my local chapter is still currently meeting via Zoom (which I support due to Covid numbers in my area), but all cameras are off and there is no interaction. I have also reached out to them via email, but no luck.
