I used to teach the DASM and DASSM courses. The content is good and will definitely give you a better grounding in the application of the DA toolkit (focusing on the Disciplined Agile Delivery process blade) than self-learning would. But as always, it comes down to the quality of the instructor.

I personally took the DASSM course when it was DALSM and it was pretty good. I never thought I'd enjoy a two day live virtual course for 8 hours a day but my experience was totally the opposite and I did benefit a lot. I recommend it, if it is in line with your goals or career objectives. The book, Choose your WOW, is a good book, but taking the virtual course helped me better understand how to apply DA concepts and tools when making changes with my new team. Saving Changes...
