I have worked with TUV SUD closely for ISO9001-2015 certification of my organisation. Even though I was certified QM specialist, I was correlating Portfolio management terms with ISO9001 clauses in last year much.
Governance principles are almost matching; while ISO9001 recommends transactions between elements through PDCA cycle, PfMP presents its with multidimensional through Program, Projects and Operations Knowledge area.

Any suggestions or thought process?

Denathayalan,

since you go for ISO9001, you could consistently look at ISO21504 instead of PfMP.
