Has anyone found a most cost-efficient way (e.g., learning platform) to earn PDUs?

Many formal courses are often costly; e.g., hundreds of dollars.

Most people use the webinars on PMI. There is good variety and content.

I am using this platform (projectmanagement.com) to earn the needed PDUs. There are interesting materials inside the webinars.

Other that free on-demand webinars, there are other free methods:

1. Read PM-oriented books
2. Volunteer for a PMI chapter or global HQ via the VRMS
3. Give webinars or presentations on PM-related topics

There are lots of ways to earn PDUs:

1) If you are a paid member of PMI, you can watch webinars for free. Each is around 1 PDU.

2) Reading, Writing Articles

3) Education like courses and others

4) Working in the Profession

5) Volunteering

Those are very cost effective ways.

You can find specifics on what you can do and how to claim the PDUs in the CCR Handbook on PMI.ORG.

You can find a various set of Webinars at this link: https://www.projectmanagement.com/Webinars...ainOnDemand.cfm

On the left, there are filtering boxes, where you can select the type "Free Webinars", available for everyone; or "Premium Webinars", which are available only for those who had acquired a PMI Membership.

Justin,

I have been using LinkedIn learning, projectmanagement.com webinars and events organised by my local PMI chapter.

I really like LinkedIn learning for new topics and there are videos from about 15 minutes (0.25 PDUs) to hours.

As discussed by others, webinars are great and have some really good content. However, it's slow to earn PDUs as you are earning 1 at a time with these methods.

Hope this helps!
Cian.
