I just received (April, 13, 2022) my hard copy PMP certificate from PMI after two years of requesting (From March 30, 2020)... I am excited and it's a great motivation for me. I'd been mailing the Customer Care ([email protected]) for two years and finally took to twitter to register my complaint. I was asked by Chelsea M - Customer Advocate Analyst to contact [email protected]. I did that on April 04, and 3days after Glenn D. Farrow CSPO® sent a mail telling me my certificate had been dispatched via UPS and yesterday I was in possession of it.

If you got certified before the "no hard copy policy" came into place you can request for it if you need it.

Not to stir the pot too much, but now you need to work your magic to get PMI to re-introduce the lapel pins for PMP holders :-)

I've got two separate versions of the pin (the logo was changed sometime in the mid 2000's) and it is understated but elegant looking.

To Kiron’s point, I do have one of the pins, and it does look elegant. I just need to remember where I placed it :-)

If you do a Google image search for "PMP Lapel pin" you will find a number of examples. It is a semi-circular shape.

The old one which I first received was rectangular.
