Hi there. I have just found this website. I am in technology for many years, however have not attained any credientials outside of my original degree. I want to start with PMP. I have spent many years on projects, so I have the required time on the job. My question is in reference to classes. I want to take a class to prepare for this. Do you guys have any suggestions in terms of who offeres the best class, or maybe who to stay away from ? I would take this in the NY tri state area

To clarify on the below . What type of formal education is typical to take before applying for the exam. Should I take an in- person class or is an onlice class sufficient. I do not have ANY formal training on PM, just alot of work behind me.. Am willing to do what it takes to get it done - just do not want to waste my time on the wrong approach
I would recommend Career Academy (http://bit.ly/2fnjzjJ) for PMP training and exam prep courses. They have a good price for their annual membership and they are PMI Registered Education Provider (REP). Career Academy is an institution that offers online on-demand video-based learning solutions for IT Networking, Cyber Security, Project Management and Office Professionals. You can prepare for the certification exams by taking courses from Career Academy. Saving Changes...
