CAPM Exam w/PMBOK 7th Edition

Does anyone know when the 7th edition of the PMBOK will be used for the CAPM exam? Is it in October? I read the newest publication about the updates; however, I was unable to find a specific date for when the change will be implemented. I just paid for the CAPM exam but have not scheduled it yet- not sure if I should take the 6th edition or wait for the 7th? Any insights?

they're doing a pilot run of the exam right now, if you fail you get a free resit. Officially the new exam runs from January 2023

The CAPM exam in general will change early 2023. They’re doing a pilot until September 18, 2022. Here is the link to the info from PMI website:

Wow it's pretty confusing. So if taking exam in Nov or Dec 2022, what does it cover? Just 6th edition?
