I would suggest your first focus should be on obtaining the CAPM certification, Marros. You obtain it without project management experience. More importantly it shows you are serious about your project management apprenticeship.

While you do that, try to get work, any work, on a project. Once on a project, look for opportunities to help the project manager and team leads. This will start you earning project management experience towards your PMP certification.

Marros,
to add to Stephane, try to get a (career) mentor.
And read several good books about project management to obtain a broad understanding of what it is about.

I agree with Stéphane. CAPM certification is adequate to start in project management apprenticeship and to acquire knowledge and experience to become a support PM.
